Rasa comes from Tabula Rasa in Latin and means empty sheet. We fill in this empty sheet with our experiences, adventures and perhaps love stories?
RASA86 was founded to embrace the diverse and vibrant events that enrich the city of Amsterdam and it's surroundings.
Division between genres, styles and people is not our cup of tea. Fostering authentic connection and creating a common ground is our goal.
At RASA86, we have five core values that form the foundation of a common ground:
Open-Mindedness: This means being receptive to different opinions, motivations, and worldviews. Some events at RASA86 will suit your taste, others may not. Attend the events you enjoy and respect the preferences of others.
Non-Pretentiousness: Everyone is equal, a member of the crowd is just as valuable as a DJ, organizer, or performer. Address everyone as you wish to be addressed, and feel free to compliment, help, or support staff and organizers. They appreciate it when you show gratitude.
Respect: We ask everyone to be respectful. There is absolutely no room for any type of racism, exclusion, and discrimination. Report any such behavior at the bar, entrance, or to staff members.
Consent: Consent is not only key, consent is sexy! Always ask someone if you may dance with them, buy them a drink, or kiss them. Please report any unwanted behavior at the bar, entrance, or to staff members.
Passion: We are committed to creating unique dance floor experiences. We value passionate clubbers, a rested crowd, and good energy. This is a place to dance, be who you want to be, and forget all worries. Freedom of expression is paramount.
